Notes:
“All on a Summer’s Day” was aired on CBC July 5, 1979.
- Begins with whistle music (which will be the opening music of the film)
- Notes from the producer (with Newfoundland accent) to Alden Nowlan, as a starting point for the poetry Alden Nowlan will be providing for the super special “All on a Summer’s Day.” Music recorded for the show in Halifax the week before, and included in this tape for Alden Nowlan to listen to. Tape focuses on producer’s notes on the script and how Alden Nowlan might approach the poems within the script.
