Notes:
- A weeklong poetry workshop in August 1991. Somewhere with a beach (British Columbia?) - “I Spoke”: fascinated by the act of naming, by naming something it will exist. Also about chickens. - Robert Kroetsch on Kay – she is a successful watercolour painter who has decided to write poems - Dingwald – comparatively late to writing, she considers it verse rather than poetry. Living as a learning process. - “Song”: “I would not have read tonight except Robert read it and said ‘why not?’” - Robert Kroetsch on Mann – poet from the interior - Mann: difficulties of building and sustaining a ranch, as well as women’s condition - Martin recording is not part of the workshop recording.
