In Roy Miki's series of interviews, all the previous recordings took place at Warren Tallman's house. However, it is unclear if this particular interview was also conducted there, as George Bowering and Gladys Hindmarch were present, potentially indicating a different setting.

Note:
On this tape, Roy Miki asks George Bowering about Earle Birney, prompting responses from both George and Gladys Hindmarch. The discussion shifts to Tallman's opinion of Daniel Roy and his relationship with him. Tallman also reflects on the major conference he organized at UBC. Additionally, they discuss the poets who lived with Tallman and with each other, sharing memories from that period. The interview is interrupted between 23:27 and 31:52 and when it resumes, the conversation centers primarily on Glady's early life and a mixture of other things they get to talk about bout in between.
