Note:
James Laughlin opens his seminar by reading some of Ezra Pound's early poems from 1906, written during his youth, to illustrate the remarkable progress Pound achieved over his 50-year poetic career. Laughlin continues reading Pound's poems and passages, providing brief summaries of the stories behind each.
At the start of Side Two, Laughlin reads one of Pound's poems written in Latin. At the end of this side, he reads some of Pound's letters to himself and T. S. Eliot.
