NOTES
Type:
General
Note:
Ellen begins talking about Tallman and he inferenced her life; Ellen also talks about her relationship with other poets back then. They talk a lot about all the other poets and Ellen's friendship with her closest friend [Marta?] and her importance.
On side two, Tallman explains how difficult it would have been for him to have any meaningful relationship with Creeley, Bowering, Spider, and Ginsburg and other poets back then without having some intelligence about them on some level. However, as he elaborates, this understanding was impossible because Ellen was the one creating the source. Ellen concludes this tape by reflecting on the period from the early 1960s to the tape's recording in 1983, discussing her connection with Duncan and Creeley over the years.
