Gilbert was a multimedia artist and writer who published 19 books between 1960 and 2006. This collection contains poetry recordings of Gilbertu2019s, including a large number of tapes from u201cradiofreerainforest,u201d the radio show he hosted. radiofreerainforest [sic] aired on Vancouver co-op radio CFRO-FM Radio beginning in the spring of 1985 and ran well into the 1990s.
