There are approximately 1000 tapes in this collection. Most of the recordings were made in BC, but there are some made elsewhere in Canada or the USA. This collection contains poetry recordings of Gilbertu2019s, including a large number of tapes from u201cradiofreerainforest,u201d the radio show he hosted. radiofreerainforest [sic] aired on Vancouver co-op radio CFRO-FM Radio beginning in the spring of 1985 and ran well into the 1990s.
